Mike has been hunting and trapping since he was old enough to hold a gun. Twelve years ago, after having spent a number of years guiding for other operators, Mike started his own outfitting business. Whiteshell Outfitters has slowly grown over the years, expanding from deer, to bear,waterfowl, snowmobile tours, and ice fishing, all the time remaining a small and exclusive operation, where every client is directly served by Mike himself. |

Coming from a line of outdoorsmen, Greg has been raised on the trapline and has hunting in his blood. When not guiding for us Greg is a husband to Vanessa and Dad to his son Connor and daughter Winter. Greg can also be found out on the trapline or teaching his dad how to build cabins. |

As teens Mike and Darrell honed their hunting and trapping skills together. A couple years ago Darrell joined our operation as our number one waterfowl guide. |

At 6'4" Rob is a hard man to keep up to in the bush. Rob comes to us with years of experience guiding for bear in his father-in-law's operation. When Hans transferred his tags to us we were happy that Rob came along too. |

Coming from champion stock, at only 1.5 years of age Bosch proved himself as a worthy retriever. When not in the marsh, Bosch can be found lounging in front of the fire and chasing cats or basketballs in our yard. |

Lisa

Last season Lisa's duties expanded to include handling the mail and bank deposits during the season. She can also be found helping to prepare camp provisions. |

Truly a family operation, everyone pulls their weight in this operation. season. For weeks both prior and during the season Kaitlin is kept busy fielding the phones, helping with provisions, and filling in for Mom or Dad when she isn't at school or slinging burgers at the Rennie Hotel. |

Anxious to get his Hunter's Safety this fall, Mitchell is Mike's apprentice "Jack of All Trades", helping his dad get maintain equipment, clear trail, put out bait, and with dozens of other tasks while we get ready for the season. |

Completely inept at hunting, Debby compensates for Mike's "electronic impairment" by updating the website and handling all email correspondence. As Mike's wife and business partner she feels her role is to both help out wherever needed and to nag him mercilessly when necessary. |
